About me:
Hello there! My name is Ruud van Eijk. I'm a 22-year-old student and Media Designer who was born in The Netherlands in 1986. After the 3rd form of Havo/Vwo (advanced secondary education) I attented Eindhovense School. From 2002 through 2006 I attended the secondary vocational training "Multimedia Design". I greaduated in 2006. During my training I was an apprentice with Spiegel Advertising studio and Partout Interactive, during which time I especially focussed on graphic and Internet design.
When I was 20, I moved to Hilversum and went to the faculty Art, Media & Technology and started a Higher Education training called Image and Media Technology. This training enables me to become a Graphic and Media Designer who uses digital animation and design techniques. In June 2006 I also started my one-man company "Ruud van Eijk Design".
Since 2007 I'm busy making all sorts of videos at school. Leaders, experimental videos, bumpers, trailers, music videos and stuff like that. Alongside motion graphics I like to work with music artists, events and veejays in the future. The combination of music and motion graphics are fascinating to me. Besides that I love to focus on music videos and internet projects.
