Coone, active as a DJ/Producer for over 10 years, was born on the 30th of May 1983 in Belgium, near the Dutch border. Driven by his natural creativity and interest in music, combined with a great talent for both producing and dj-ing, Coone has become one of the leading names in the harder dance styles.
His performance at Reverze in 2006 was a marker and a boost for his career. The anthem “Infected†that he produced for this event was ranked nr.1 in the Belgian dance charts 4 weeks in a row and was followed up by his first videoclip and cd-single. After this boost, many releases followed on one of the leading jumpstyle imprints, Zoo records. Coone got also booked on every major harddance event & festival and bookings across Europe soon followed. (Reverze, Bassleader, Defqon, Sensation Black, Decibel, Mysteryland, ...)
On October 13th, on the age of 24, Coone realised something never done before : he sold out the Anterp Sports Palace with his own solo-concert : Coone & the Gang. Over 10.000 fans came out and the media jumped upon him. He had proven that the harder styles or not just popular among a small minority, but that many people liked them and that the future of the harder styles was looking better than ever !
Coone describes his style as : “All harder styles but never the sameâ€. His DJ sets show a wide range of popular pounding stuff, always combined with catchy vocals or cool gimmicks. Almost 75% of his set are own productions, remixes or bootlegs wich makes him very unique among the rest.
In 2006, Coone started his own record label : Dirty Workz. The label has allready become one of the most wanted labels in the scene.
In february 2008, after a year of dedicated studio-time, Coone released his first solo-album : My Dirty Workz. It was the first album of a harddance dj that came with a DVD wich contained footage of his concert and other performances. After a few weeks, the album allready reached the top of the charts and was the best selling Belgian solo-album.
During 2008, Coone will travel the world with his Dirty Workz Worldtour. His goal is to spread the harder styles across the world !
