Da Bulldozer Project is a collaboration between producer Dennis-M(Dennis Moerkerk) and vocalist DA-TMC (Tom Ketting), they werefriends long before they started Da Bulldozer Project. In the late80’s they met eachother in a place called "The Wall" in Rotterdambecause both worked as DJ’s. In this place musicians used to meet andplay their instruments together. During those years Dennis alsoplayed guitar intensively in several Metal bands and was preparinghimself to go to the school of performing arts, Tom used to played ina Punk band called "hippie assault". As popularity of electronicdance music became bigger in this period, Tom and Dennis, who wereinterested by this music stream, decided to organize some "acid houseparties" in The Wall. Meanwhile Dennis bought some equipment torecord his guitar music, and Tom was experimenting with his casio sk-1 sampler. One night Dennis and Tom were very drunk and took theirnew instruments and recorded some stupid dance tracks not knowingthat this night would eventually be the beginning of Da BulldozerProject. After practicing a couple of times the tracks became ofbetter quality and Dennis and Tom started an electronic liveband"Soundlab". After a couple of live performances in the Rotterdamdance scene and playing everything REAL live!! Dennis decided to makehis own demo and Tom allready started to host different house partiesas a MC. When Dennis finished his demo, he gave it to DJ Rob who wasthen the resident DJ in the legendary Parkzicht. DJ Rob really likedthe demo and Dennis was offered to release some records on DJ Rob’shardcore label "Coolman Records". Tom who also hooked up with DJ Robperformed on several big rave’s organized by DJ Rob. Dennis and Tomwere now full members of the Coolman crew. After a while Tim-B, whowas also a Coolman producer, asked Tom to make a record together.When the tracks were finished Dennis made a remix of the track"Bleeding Ears" and because they really liked the result of thistrack Dennis and Tom decided to work together again as "Da BulldozerProject". Dennis responsible for producing the tracks and Tom forlyrics and as a MC at the live performances. The following yearsthree records were released with of course the hitrecord "Arise".Because both are continiously working, and Dennis is also producingdifferent projects there has not always been enough studio time for"Da Bulldozer Project" to make a new release. But finally after along period of absence they re back!! playing on big raves throughoutEurope and soon releasing new tracks, Keep your ears and eyes open.They shall Arise!!!
