About Me

Dj Schmerz is creator of the first mexican collective focused on the sounds of Hardcore techno, gabber, darkcore, speedcore and related styles. The project started in 2001 and keeps on going trying to offer a different view of Mexico cityÂ´s underground. He has played in the main underground venues, either self organized gigs (collaborations between gabbermex and toxcipro) or invited by other organizations. He used to host a hardcore radio show through toxicpro radio, project that is over by now. His style is based in darkcore, artcore, gabber, hardcore techno, speedcore, breakcore among others. Schmerz currently lives in Sweden.
