TailorMade started years ago as an Accoustic Duo consisting of Etan Lightstone on Guitar and Drew Corbin on Guitar and Vocal. Lightstone and Corbin wanted to try something new and invited former Jamal's Cool Head Guitar player Shawn (Bones) McDonald to join them for a few practices. With Lightstone and Bones experiance, the songs really started to take form and all three felt as though it needed a bigger sound. After many auditions, TailorMade became a band with the incorperation of Ben and Josh Dodds who moved to Montreal from Western Canada in persuit of School and Music. The Dodds brothers brought much to the stage with their extensive backgrounds in music. Having Studied Jazz and playing in many different bands across Canada, they were able to add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the TailorMade sound. The 5 of them wrote together and played together for almost 3 years when the band decided to take a break. Lightstone, now a published photographer, chooses to stay behind the scenes and help TailorMade off stage during their revival. in Lightstones plance on guitar , another former Jamal's Cool Head member, Alan Springer will lend a hand to the band with his experiance and love of music. "The band is changing and although it wont be the same without Etan, we welcome Alan to the band and look foreward to writing, playing, and performing as the new TailorMade" says Corbin. "This will without a doubt be a wild ride which we hope everyone will enjoy and want to ride over and over again"
