About Me

My name is Barbie and I am 55 years old. I am very happily married with children, grand children and our special critter kids. I am also an author who has published a book called "A king's Buffet the low carb way, Hidden Treasures from the Cottage House". I have a great passion for cooking. It is a book about the struggles people have with weight issues. It's a compassionate book about the feelings that carb addicted people have. The book has a load of really funky recipes that are rich and great tasting. I was a chef for a living at one time so I know how to load the goodness into the food. I would love it if you would check out the book. There are also many exciting tips, little pearls of information and some great humor as well... you can't live life without humor! Check it out on Amazon.com, Borders and some of the other major book sites. You don't have to be on a low carb diet to appreciate this book and it is different than most low carb books on the market. My Interests

I love to cook, bake, make truffles, entertain people I love and care about. I love old cars and car shows. I love spending time with my family and critter kids... I love my grand kids!

THE LORD IS MY HERO... I WORSHIP NO OTHER! I AM A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN AND I AM PROUD OF IT! I LIKE IT HARD CORE! HARD CORE BIBLE BANGING, FOOT STOMPING, EVANGELICAL, REVIVALIST, GOSPEL SINGING PRAISE TO THE LORD!! DOESN'T MEAN I AM PERFECT, IT JUST MEANS I NEED THE LORD IN MY LIFE EVERY STEP I TAKE.
