Met Popvis wil een groep gedreven vrijwilligers (studenten Culturele Studies ) een brug slaan tussen popmuziek en beeldende/audiovisuele kunsten. Op een drempelverlagende manier wordt aandacht gevraagd voor het visuele aspect van popmuziek tijdens een goedgevulde avond in STUK te Leuven met concerten en performances die elk gekoppeld worden aan een visuele act. Munrau's movie Faust.2) Even more exclusive: APPARAT - Berlin's electro sensation - will play a unique show together with live visuals by Transforma (Berlin).3) Once in a lifetime opportunity: -Scaldis- doing a unique electronica-set, intertwining with visuals and CAPOEIRA-dancers. On a low entry level, we want to draw attention on the visual aspect of pop(ular) music during a well filled night in the venue STUK in Leuven, Belgium and this by means of concerts and performances, paired with a visual act.
