Lapaz - the peace, the capital, the cigars, the steaming Pop 'n' Roll band that blows the audience away - shows to be stronger than ever.
After the succesfull release of the EP "Avoiding Blues" in 2007 Lapaz quickly began conquering people's hearts. Single "Marie-Louise" became a radio succes: it was picked up by several nationwide radiostations (Flanders biggest station Radio2 kept in high rotation for over half a year!) Follow-up single "Bridges" is equaling and exceeding this succes by adding high rotation on Radio1.
While non stop on national radio this year, Lapaz also hit the summer festivals and proved it's superb live reputation in front of large crowds. Outstanding gigs on ao. 2007's Gentse Feesten (Korenmarkt), Rock Ternat, Genk On Stage were the result.
An outstanding year ended with a TV appearance on the very popular "Debby & Nancy Show" on VRT's channel Eén (over 1.300.000. viewers!).
