Welcome, and thank you for visiting "ORO DE LEY", a tribute band to the music of mogel, icon & legend latin singer," LUIS MIGUEL". His singing career spans 25 years of some of the most beautiful & elegant music in history. This incredibly gifted singer, commonly known as "El Sol de Mexico"(the sun of Mexico) recorded his first record in 1982 at age 12. In 1985, at age fifteen, Luis Miguel won his first grammy award. This international star who is loved & respected for both his well produced albums and his strong live performances received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at age 26. He has won five american grammys & four latin grammys, and is the only latin artist to have been invited to sing with Frank Sinatra on his "Duets II" album. He has sold over 60 million records worldwide. A fan of Luis Miguel's music since 1987, it wasn't until the last two years that I've been pondering the idea of forming a tribute band of this magnitude. We are in the initial stages of forming the line-up for this high calibre band, which will make every effort & attempt to reproduce a live Luis Miguel show . Yes, we have found the perfect candidate that will emulate with the highest of respect and give justice to the voice and music of Luis Miguel. His name is " Xandro Leima", a very gifted and talented singer from Spain. His singing career has brought to fruition two solo albums. In November he will be in Miami to record and work with producer Jose Luis Morin (musician/producer), who has written & produced albums for such great latin artists like Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Marc Anthony, David Bisbal, Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Olga Tanon, Frankie Negron among others.
