My hubby and I call ourselves "weekend warriors..." We work opposite shifts, so we really cram a lot into our weekends ... We've been doing this for the last 12 years, so we're used to it ... We met many moons ago in the neighborhood, and have been together since Dec 1991 ... We are soulmates, and I would be lost without him ... He is a wonderful husband and a very devoted father ...
We have the best kid, and we have no idea where he came from ... ; )~ Aidyn is now 3 years old, and I really can't believe how fast time flies ... He really is just the sweetest ... What can I say ... He's just our Bug ...
I also have 3 loyal and lovable kittens ... Our oldest Ariel (the hoobs), is is now 5 years old, and she is our little black panther ... She always has the best Halloween costume !!! Next is Zoe (the peanut), she is 4 years old and a grey and white fuzzbutt ... Last, but not least, is Lillyth (the Lillipution) she is 2 1/2 years old and is our cute little Calico (We lost Lilly 12/18/06 ... She will forever be in our hearts) ... Our newest edition is Cleopatra ... She is part Snow Leopard and part White Tiger ... She's about 5 months old ... Our kittens are like little people ... Each with their own personality ... We love them all ... Ariel we rescued from a shelter and was 8 weeks old, Zoe came from a coworker who planned on throwing her out onto the street and was only 6 weeks old, Lilly found us ... She was in my gangway one night and Andy heard her calling ... She was only 5 weeks old, skin and bones, not fully weened, flea ridden, had worms, an eye infection and a cold ... She's much better now ... We feel honored that she chose us ... We hope she was happy while she was with us ... We love you Lilly
We all live next door to my parents and my brother ... I bought my grandparents house after my grandfather died in Aug of 2000 ... Living next door to my family has it's pros and cons, but the pros more than outweigh the cons ... My sister got married in Oct 2004 and moved to the North Side ... But now she's moved back to the Southside !!! Woo hoo ...
I work at Marquette Bank, and i've been there 13 years ... I started working there as a way to support my concert habit and turned it into a carreer ... I am now an Operations Officer, and I love my job ... So much for the Rock Star dream huh ??? I still make my jewelry on the side, so I get to feel creative ... I love my crafts ...
My husband and I are solitary practioners of the Wiccan Way ... We both felt unsatisfied with our Catholic roots ... We were both raised my wonderful parents who instilled in us a very moral outlook on life ... We had to break from the Catholic church though because it just didn't fit us ... The Wiccan Way is a more natural and harmonius faith ... We believe in it wholeheartedly ... Our families were mostly confused and disappointed, but now they have learned to accept us as we are ... Our son will be raised knowing both religions, and will select his own path as my husband and I have ...
