Labatt's 50 Ale

Me and the boys and our 50

About Me

I'm a tasty beverage. Born in 1950, I am the first light ale introduced in Canada. I was Canada’s best-selling beer until 1979 when, with the increasing popularity of lagers, I was surpassed by my evil older brother "Blue". Still, my popularity varies....some love me, some hate me. I'm quite popular with war vets, truck drivers, grandmothers and the rock n' roll scene. I'm known as Labatt's Canadian Ale in the U.S. Some folks say I'm a sort of a pale ale, but that's not so. The discontinued IPA and Nova Scotia's Alexander Keith's are examples of that ... I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Sitting in coasters, hanging out in fridges and cooler boxes, making friends with ice, tasting your food, crop dusting, listening to your drunken philosophy, being used as an ashtray and I enjoy being stolen.

They won't let me in to movie theaters.

Books:

I'm usually too bleary eyed to read.
