Transparent aka Mr. Im Snitchin

Dwight Taylor Sr., a.k.a. Transparent, is an unsigned International gospel rapper, speaker and mentor. He is a Bishop O’Dowd High School and Fresno State University Alumni. Transparent graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. In November 2005 Transparent followed two callings that God had placed on his life: Ministering the gospel through music and starting On Purpose Inc., a non-profit Christian organization that caters to the youth of Contra Costa and Solano County. Transparent resides in Richmond, CA where he volunteers at the Coronado YMCA. In 2006 he was honored with the “Volunteer of the Year” award from The West Contra Costa YMCA. Transparent currently holds a position with Alternative Family Services as a case manager for foster care and adoption children. His dual passions for children and spreading the Word of God are what fuel his determination to live his life in an upright and “Transparent” way. Transparent released a "Mix Tape" in 2006 entitled "Honest Talk: Volume 1". In March 2007 he won the American Christian Talent Search and in June 2007 he participated in the Christian Music Awards (CMA). He has currently released a 19 track mix tape titled “Transparent presents…. Heirs-The Takeback Vol. 1”. In addition, he is working on his debut album which is scheduled to be released in October 2008. Transparent recently returned from a two week multi-city tour in Australia. Year to date, he has ministered at approximately 50 different venues (Churches, Cruises, High Schools, Talent shows, and Award shows) and on many occasions he has returned to minister multiple times.
