About Me

Peter Quinn (guitar, lead vocal, music and lyrics) formed the band Furry Waters (named after blues legends Furry Lewis and Muddy Waters ) in 1997.He was close to signing a recording contract with Polydor when he made a u-turn realising the future of music was online. "Streams of Passion" the debut was released online in April 1999. In mp3 format with an e-commerce solution it was the first of its kind and as a result the album received much publicity.Compared to Bowie and Brian Ferry, Pete is influenced by soul, blues, gospel and funk.
