About Me

I was born in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands, in the summer of ’66 - 200 years after the great legend and pioneer Nólsoyar Páll was born, and 100 years after our national hero in politics Jóannes Patursson was born.
Being child number 9 I had plenty of older siblings to spoil me. And of course they did.
Six years old I started out on the guitar and at age eleven I took violin lessons. My father played the violin and encouraged me to do the same. I gave it up after struggling for a couple of years.
I joined some bands in my teens and at age 17 I was playing guitar and singing in the folk/rock - protest band “Frændur”. We released five albums and had a blast.
I always felt connected with the music somehow, even though family had other expectations. So I spent years in school - dreaming of life without school.
Three years ago I was blessed with a beautiful daughter and ever since life hasn’t been the same – bless her, love of my life:)
The last year and a half I’ve enjoyed making this album together with producer Hans Poulsen.
