Operation: Teleport

Operation: Teleport is a bi-monthly webzine created to showcase emerging artists and creative individuals. Each issue, we feature different up-and-coming creators, who may not otherwise have an arena in which to showcase their work. From scarves to songwriting, poetry to prose, craft to collage; our ultimate goal is to encourage creative expression, at any level.O:T is a way for all of the creators, dreamers, lovers, and thinkers to come together; to form a community of sorts. It is a way for all of the “unknowns� to become known, if they so desire. It is an avenue for all of the obscure writers to become published. Above all, it is a way to motivate people to keep creating, or to create again, if they have neglected the release.Each issue features up to fifteen artists from all locations and all backgrounds. We do not select artists based on quality or medium; work is chosen on a first-to-submit basis. Each artist is presented with a short biography, and a description of their chosen medium.Feedback is encouraged. We provide a space for commenting and web-logging, so that viewers can offer constructive criticism or praise for the work they are viewing. For those creators that are looking to improve and refine their style, this provides an avenue for them to collect responses and opinions they may not otherwise receive.Thanks for taking the time to check out our little community. We hope that our goal is realized, and that individuals will benefit creatively, emotionally and existentially through sharing what they love.
