About Me

I am a long-time music journalist who later became an attorney and an educator. I still wear all three of those hats at present. I've established this site primarily as a Blog-headquarters for many of the music law advice columns I've done over the years to the present date. If you have a music law-related question, message me with the details and I may post an answer, disguising your identity, of course ... However, I also intend to post and share both past and present writings I've done such as (Music/Artist) interviews and reviews that are currently available online ... and maybe some musings and news on those and other fronts as well. I also plan to post some of the more rare and vintage pieces that appeared in the hard copy music mags of the day, and/or perhaps do full transciptions of the more interesting interviews with artists who are still rightfully respected, even after all these years ... Check out my Blogs and Bulletins for more! ............................................................ ............................................ SOME GREAT MUSICIANS/BANDS I SUPPORT ARE FEATURED BELOW:

My Interests

Music, as might be obvious! ;-) And my aim is to keep some great new artists posted on "my top friends" on this page, to help spread the good news. But, regarding other "favorite things": my family/son (of course!), dear old friends, good new friends. My other top interests are history, movies, traveling, art, reading, sociology, good conversations, baseball, hockey, trivia games ... and just having fun, period!

I'd like to meet:

Good People with creativity, integrity, soul, and passion!

Music:

Actually, very varied ... Too many favorites to go on about here, but anything that's well-done, original, with melody, heart, soul, and genuine passion!

Movies:

Of late, Eastern Promises and No Country for Old Men. All-time faves: Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy, Spartacus, and many more ... actually, almost anything that's well-done concerning historical fiction or non-fiction, from eras I find interesting ...

Television:

Almost anything on The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, and PBS. I do like "House" and the CSI and Law & Order shows ... and "The Tube" too. A guilty pleasure might be stuff like Dr. Phil, though I very rarely watch day time TV. And total thumbs down to all those staged "reality" shows!

Books:

Currently: NELSON, Love & Fame (about the legendary British Admiral Horatio Nelson); Eleanor of Aquitaine and the Four Kings; The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail ... more.

Heroes:

My Heroes? Anyone who has creativity, integrity, a big heart, and big dreams - along with the internal fortitude to relentlessly pursue them! And, the many good souls in this world who are selfless enough to contribute to the betterment of humanity without any expectations of reciprocation or material reward.
