About Me

LOVEKRAFT was founded in late 2001 by Adrian Thiel and Chris Horn.
The two guys from Southern Bavaria had to go through many line-up changes before they finally found the perfect singer for their kind of sound.
Peter Baumgartner joined them and, thus, secured the future path of LOVEKRAFT.
The band (with Sebastian Huber on drums) recorded their first demo "It's teatime in R'lyeh" in March 2004.
This first release was followed by a DVD featuring a live-bootleg of a club-concert.
When Chris Horn had to leave the band in July 2004, LOVEKRAFT were lucky and had to do only one audition with Tom Z. to know who was gonna be the new man on the bass guitar.
By the end of 2005 the band hired Chris "Wallace" Kreillinger as the new drummer and started working on their new CD, immediately.
In April 2006 the recording for "MIDNITE SNACKS" was accomplished.
The concerts in 2006 emphasized LOVEKRAFT's new style which surprised many fans and friends.
The songs were marked by increased heaviness and power.
The old "metal-pop"-style vanished.
By January 1st, 2007, the group's website (http://www.loveKraft.de) introduced LOVEKRAFT's "first-time-ever" 2nd guitarist, Harry Wieberger.
Due to the heaviness of the latest songs the band found it inevitable to continue by two guitars.
In March 2007, the Europe-wide released magazine SOUNDCHECK issued a new CD-compilation featuring LoveKraft's latest tune "Kiss the cutlass".
Although this CD-compilation was put together by EMG Europe, LoveKraft did not sign with EMG for further collaborations.
After LoveKraft successfully introduced the new rhythm-guitarist, Harry Wieberger, in April 2007, they were booked for a 3-day-theater festival to perform live for the Shakespearian comedy "What You Will".
A corresponding radio-play was made available on CD and sold at the shows, featuring rehearsal-demo-tracks unauthorized by LoveKraft.
After the huge success of this combination of classic theater and modern metal music, "What You Will" was scheduled to continue in Munich in September 2007 and, furthermore, in Frankfurt in October.
In late 2007, the five "LoveKraftians" began writing new material for their next recording.
On April 15th, 2008, a new singer, Alex Diehl, was put in place.
