Music is the food of life... so play on -- This is the sole mantra of his life that he believed in, right from his days as one among the top five finalists at the Grasim Mr India (1998), preceded by the Gladrags Manhunt (1997). In fact, it wasn't till he first performed at the year-end bash at Talkatora Indoor Stadium ( a do sponsored by Pepsi and Sports Authority of India) that he realised making some 3,000 people dance to your tune (literally) was no easy task! But then, nothing seemed to put him on a high more than ‘The Joy of Decks' and his journey as a dj to explore music each day.Spinning different genres of popular music -- performing at gigs(film premiers, corporate get togethers, private bashes, fashion and other commercial shows) at leading clubs around South-East Asia has helped him tap pulses of music fans, thereby giving them the exuberance of high spirits.And what's even more... even as he pursued his passion for the tabla, he made every little effort to understand music in all its forms.Incidently his music is inspired by African Tribal drums & Electronica .His sets reflects drifty and progressive feel.For the record, he was victorious at the Times War of DJs 2002 & released Krishna-consciousness album for the ISKON temple religious movement in 2006. With nine years of spinning experience,and presently working as the Music Consultant for 5 star properties like The Claridges , New Delhi & Galaxy Hotel , Gurgaon...with residency at AURA and TERROIR , progressing with music in life, He feels is all about the confluence of the mind, body and soul -- something he intend to pursue with new zeal each day.
