my website : www.buttonshc.comA very small bit out about me- My name is Ryan (the girl) and i currently live in North Carolina. I work to travel. I really need to be on Da Big Island or in Costa Rica during the Winter. Volcanos are the most amazing thing i have ever seen and i love getting as close as i can! I created this page to support other artists, music i love, and organizations that i think should be recognized. I make a lot of patchwork clothing and i love working with hemp & organic fabrics. I also use an embroidery machine.
Most all of the jewelry i make is with high grade gemstones and sterling silver. Sometimes i venture into using shells, nuts or wood, but right now i am addicted to pairing colorful glass pendants with gemstones.
I travel during festival season selling my creations and getting to see some awesome live music at the same time. My good friend Melody & I have most recently had booths at Wakarusa, Allgood & Smilefest. I love meeting the people in person who wear my creations and can't wait to see new faces =)
I had open heart surgery in september so i am just now starting to craft again. Hopefully soon there will be new art for you to see. i have been inspired by many things in the past few months and have many ideas flowing out of my head. we'll see what actually makes it to production.
The surgery and recovery was a life changing experience in so many ways ! Now i have the ability to do so many activities i was not able to do beforehand. if i can stay inside long enough i will get some work done. This spring i will be all over Costa Rica & Panama for a few months and then back to enjoy Smilefest and Allgood. Then it will be time to do some more traveling out of the country. South America Summer 2008 as well as another trip to Hawaii before 2007 comes to an end. A california adventure with my girls is long overdue and i hope to make it out there sometime this summer. Life is Good =)
My big brother is going to TRY to teach me to snow ski in feb.
While in costa i'll be snorkeling, diving for our dinner and horseback riding on the beach. i hope to try the surfing thing while in Panama. The sky is the limit and i am all about it!I have a website if you would like to see more of my work.
