About Me

Livin' in, & lovin' Austin Tx. I make my own dresses, never leave the house without a little glitter, try to smile at everyone I encounter & most importantly, try to spread the love wherever I go. I live optimistically, & love life with my family. I'm open to trying new things & meeting new people, & try to find a positive in all my experiences.

Anything creative!
I primarily stitch clothing, accessories & make fabric art; create with sculpey clay; bead with natural elements, glass, stones, etc.; macrame; & garden/design landscape. I also dabble in photography, ponds, knitting/crochet.
I hope to one day work & create with metal, as well as venture into glassblowing to feed my bead addictions.
My other interests include working with shows/festivals, enjoying/dancing to live music, camping, hiking, VW's-((Austin Air Coolers)), watching a sunset, swimming, hangin' w/my old dogs/old man, & various QUALITY friends.

Music:

LOVE Widespread Panic (old & new), Grateful Dead (old), Beatles, Bill Monroe, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Vic Chesnut, Jerry Joseph, Allman Bros., Johnny Cash, Steve Kimock, Tea Leaf Green ....ugh ....& too many more to name. Rock, Bluegrass, Americana & then some. Not really interested in rap, classic or modern country, anything be-boppy or like chick music (performed by, or targeted by marketing).
I like real instruments, real voices, & LIVE performances-accoustic or electric. 'And if it feels good, we shake' Music should move your soul, & if I'm movin', you know it has.

Television:

I really like nature programs. Love Nat. Geo channel, TLC, Disc, & my latest new find has been Current TV (up in the high numbers, of digital cable world). Also love IFC, Bravo, sometimes A&E.....& if you don't find the Simpson's humorous & a jab @ life, you need to check your head! ;oD
I also like other cartoons with a sick sense of humor, like Drawn Together & The Family Guy, yet only South Park on occasion (got old/stale to me)

Books:

A far easier task would be to simply list the authors I've enjoyed over my years: Ken Kesey - Tom Brown Jr. - JRR Tolkien - Tom Robbins - Anne Rice - John Grisham - Stephen King - CS Lewis - Rock Sculley -Julia Butterfly Hill - Benjamin Hoff - F. Scott Fitzgerald & way more than my brain can currently recall.....
