About Me

In the winter 1976, Xavier Morel went with his family to a Winter Amusement Fair and won a prize at the lottery. It was the KRAFTWERK/RADIO ACTIVITY single and since then, he became deeply attracted to electronic music.He started his career by mixing in 1988 for several private parties in London and the suburbs for about 2 years and played at the Kho Pangan 1990 New Year party. Afterward, he went to Japan and worked every weekend as a resident DJ at the Razzle Dazzle. Therefore, he started a professional career as an international DJ.Since the beginning of the 90's, Xavier Morel has played all around Europe, Asia (mainly Japan), Australia, USA or South America. Japan has always been his favorite country for mixing. He has developed an extensive knowledge and a genuine technique that makes his mixing very special.In 1994, He worked as a Label Manager with Simon Gahary (Blue Room A&R) and for Sony Music France.Since 1995, Xavier Morel has produced several tracks on various projects, mainly with Juno Reactor, Prime Suspect, Section X, Eat Static, Fuel, Carcharodon Megalodon.Xavier Morel is responsible for developing a techno branch for the account of Solstice Music International and released a second compilation in October 2006. He also produced recently a compilation called MODE-S for the Horizon label in Japan..... coming out in November 2006.Now, Xavier started his own vinyl label called RASPUTIN RECORDS together with his friends Igor and Nico from FUGU SAN, worldwide exclusively distributed by TOPPLERS.The most important in music is not the format you use but the track you play!Mixing and music trade is a passion I hope to carry as long as possible! real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools
