Learning and self improvement is my passion. Especially learning things on my bass, guitar and drums. I get a kick out of doing something that I couldn't do before - especially something that I thought I could never do.
I love the people in my life more than anything -- my friends and my family. I believe that life is too short so you have to do the things you love right now.
I wanna be a rockstar!!.. but in the mean time, I spend my days working in my tiny cubicle staring at a computer. A stepping stone just until I get to live my passion - which is playing music, teaching it or doing something in the music industry.
Oh yeah, and for those of you who asked, I'm Filipino - born in the Philippines and moved to Canada when I was 2.
One of my newest hobbies is taking photographs - You can see my pictures at my FLICKR PHOTO SITE

NON-FICTION:
Just recently read "Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell. Brilliant. "Blink" by him is also great. In the same vein is Freakanomics by Stephen Levitt. (Books that give you something to think about.)
"Peace Is Every Step" by Thich Nhat Hanh, Zen Guitar, Think and Grow Rich, Man's Search For Meaning, Unlimited Power, The Artist's Way, Superlearning
AUDIOBOOKS:
Currently listening to the Rich Dad Poor Dad series (What the Rich Teach Their Kids about Money - That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!) by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It has given me an entirely different perspective about money and has actually made me reassess some of my goals in life. Well written, extremely thought provoking and possibly life changing! (we'll see in time.)
Anthony Robbins audio books are incredible. I know anything with an infomercial is questionable (I had my doubts.) But I've listened to just about everything by this guy. He gets his ideas across brilliantly. And he is truly motivating.
FICTION:
Just recently read, A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. Whether it is a novel or an autobiography, it was a very moving story.
The Alchemist (anything by Paulo Coelho), The Chrysalids, anything by Anne Rice (I love the romanticism in her writing), One, The Fountainhead
