About Me

I didn't like this "My Space" thing when my daughter first started using it, I thought it was a bad thing. After about a year and a half she set me up a page,(guess she thought I was cool enough for one) now I'm hooked. I have met so many good Christian people here, I really am glad she got me on here. I am a family person. I have 4 children- Kevin, Talanna, Amanda, & Amy, 1 daughter-in-law Janay, but she is really a daughter to me, & 1 future son-in-law Chris. 3 beautiful grandchildren - Javin 4, Kaylar 1, & Kyrstin 1. They mean everything in the world to me. I have a wonderful husband of 24 years, Mike. My idea of having a good time is being with my family. Probably to most, I lead a boring life, but it's okay with me. I was born & raised in Maryland & moved to Southeast Texas about 25 years ago. Boy, talk about a climate change! I have family all over this country & I like going to visit them. We have family get togethers pretty much every year for one reason or another (graduations, weddings & such) & when there isn't a reason to get together we plan family cruises or family vacations. I love it. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers, all of which are married & have children. I love spendng time with people that love the Lord and live for Him.
I have always lived my life by the "Golden Rule" Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I try to treat people like I want to be treated, not as they treat me. Thats the way Jesus likes it.
