About Me

I am Gandalf the White, or Grey before my falling into darkness. I am of the Maiar race but i respect all other races. Many of my aliases include the White Rider, Grey Fool, Mithrandir, Stormcrow, Tharkun, Incanus, Olorin, LathSpell, The Grey and The White. I was sent to Middle-Earth with the Red Ring, Narya, to aid me in contesting with the will of Sauron. I am usually equipped with my staff and my sword, Glamdring but they have no use for where I am now. I greatly admire the race of Hobbits because they are such amazing creatures. One can learn all there is to a Hobbit but still be surprised. I have been on many adventures in my lifetime. The most important quest I was on was the mission to destroy the One Ring and the darkness covering Middle-Earth. I joined the Fellowship to aid Frodo to Mount Doom, but on the way, I had fallen from the bridge of Khazad-dûm, battling with the Balrog of Moria on the highest dungeon of the lowest peak. There I was defeated but brought back to finish my mission. But this time, I returned as Gandalf the White and had more power. When I returned, I helped Rohan defeat the forces of evil at Helms Deep. I then rode to Gondor with Peregrin Took and defended the walls of Minas Tirith. My last battle took place on the steps of the Black Gate where we fought more than just orcs to give Frodo more time. Frodo succeeded in destroying the Ring and Middle-Earth was indeed saved. Years after the Fourth Age began, I sailed from the Grey Havens along with Elrond, Bilbo, Frodo, and my beloved horse, Shadowfax. I now rest in the Undying Lands, writing many songs and poems with my great friend Bilbo Baggins.
