BAND BIO
In Febuary 2005 a few of Nihilate's current members got together to form a band.
The band started out playing original hard rock music. After a few additions to the band in May and a final line change in September 2005 we began writing as a band.
With two songs written by all five members we realised that we were naturally headed for a heavier sound and that the older material was no longer right for us.
In the end of October 2005 we renamed the band Nihilate and continued to write heavier, more aggressive music that would eventually spawn a three song demo CD.
In 2006 we played several shows whilst continuously working on new material.
Upon the completion of nine disgustingly heavy tracks we decided to start recording again. It may have been a little ambitious but to maintain absolute control we made the choice to record the whole thing ourselves.
Now in 2007 with our album recorded we are constantly working on new material and looking to destroy any venue we can get our hands on in as many cities as possible.
