How would you like to have the three biggest names in Ohio pushing and promoting your band or group? Well, now you can!
MidWest Invasion has re-constructed EVERYTHING! The biggest named DJ in Columbus, DJ Rishbone (NightClub Major Woody's, You hear him on 3 radio stations, previously at Long Street, Club 7 and of course the "Official Campus DJ"), City (hosting every Saturday night at NightClub Major Woody's, and live every day on the ONLY hip hop radio station in Columbus) and Platinum Promotions (we've all heard of Platinum Promotions, being part of some of the biggest successes in Columbus).
This is how it works:
You submit your song, along with a good quality photo (go to our blog to see how to submit). The MidWest Invasion Mixtape will consist of 15 - 20 tracks. DJ Rishbone will compile the tracks and handle the mixing. DJ Rishbone, along with your boy, City, will co-host it together. These 2, side by side with the whole staff of Platinum Promotions will promote and push the "Official Midwest Invasion Mixtape" throughout Ohio and many surrounding states.
The acts that are part of the current months project will be added as the "Top Friends" on the Midwest Invasion MySpace profile.
Each act also gets a pre-determined amount of mixtapes (see blog) to sell or give away, with additional copies provided at a discounted rate.
With 15 acts pushing this project, along with everyone involved on this project, your song(s) is being heard by hundreds, possibly even thousands of people.
HERE IS THE FREE BONUS!!!
The people involved (DJ Rishbone, City, Platinum Promotions) have compiled a list of over 400 contacts in the industry. This ranges from local DJ's, to radio station personalities, to night club owners, to mainstream A&R's, to presidents and executives of record labels, to personal friends such as Diddy, E40, Warren Sapp, Labron James, to many more people! At the release of each and every issue, each of these contacts will receive a copy.
The cost is $100. That covers your song and information on this great mixtape, plus 10 free copies of the cd. For a cost of $150, you will get 10 free copies of the cd, a free performance at NightClub Major Woody's in Columbus, Ohio (must provide your own transportation and hotel accomodations) and promotional materials for that night.
