About Me

I’ve been playing music all my life. I flailed about in my early teenage years, but when punk hit the suburbs in the late ’70s, I latched on and never let go. I’ve been in dozens of bands over the years, including Human Therapy, Kent State, the Flamethrowers and the Holy Rollers. The songs on this page represent a slice of my output over of the last six years, which I have spent at home with my two youngest daughters here in LA. Some of these tunes are part of the repertoire of one of my bands, The Millstones (www.myspace.com/themillstonesmusic). My other bands include Human Therapy (www.humantherapy.com), and I do a solo thing as well. Thanks for lookin’ and listenin’!SPAUN DRUMS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!

Sounds Like: The deep parts of my life pour onward, as if the river shores were opening out. It seems that things are more like me now, That I can see farther into paintings. I feel closer to what language can't reach. With my senses, as with birds, I climb into the windy heaven, out of the oak, in the ponds broken off from the sky my falling sinks, as if standing on fishes.Rilke
