I'm a dope lul' party that's a decade old and started w/ DJ Cucumberslice aka Bobbito Garcia aka Kool Bob Love aka Make it happen formerly known as The Barber and promoter Aunt Shmileen aka Shmileen aka Shmi aka Ei aka Eileen Flannigan. The bonanza of the Shnikerdoodle party began at a lovely restaurant and lounge called E & O (Eastern and Oriental) located at 100 Houston St.(by Thompson)and later became Harmony (there's a place called Jane there now). Owned by legendary diva Nell Campbell of Nell's on 14th St., she was also in a lul' film called The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Shnikerdoodle generally held court in the downstairs lounge called The Suzy Wong room but often spilled into the vast upstairs spread. The Suzy Wong room was red, romantic, intimate and cozy and Bob rocked it every Tuesday night. We also were blessed w/ guest DJs: Fly, Lou, Eli, Ski-Hi, Atsushi Numata, George Garcia, and later Marlon B, Ken Sport, Fliphilips, Carlos Teras, Slim Jim, Gentleman Rockwell, K Lew, Lord Sear, Tigger, Gravy, Giallo and Shmileen through the Shnikerdoodle's many jams. The Shnikerdoodle grew into a close knit family of friends and community of parties. We were blessed with cool ass regulars and funky fresh staff at every place we partied. The Shnik has also rocked: The Front, Opium Den, Delft, Street, Show, M.Shanghai Den, and Nino's (we were their last party, they closed to convert to the headquarters for WTC rescue workers).
