Ten Tonne Wasp New Live Photos by Avviko 2008Bertie - drums, records & produces music soundtracks -Bertie is currently playing with Ten Tonne Wasp, working on his first solo music project and playing sessions.Bertie engineered and co-produced Piano Circus’s critically acclaimed CD 'Transmission' in 2003. As CMDO with DGAA he recorded and produced the 'New Transmitters' CD a compilation of talented youth musicians from the region. He also plays drums, doing recording sessions for artists such as Future Sound of London (The Isness) and Max Richter, and performs live with national and international musicians. He has worked as a freelance acoustic consultant; projects include the specification and design of the music writing studio for Mercury Prize winning composer Thomas Adés, studio acoustics for Overtones Ltd and for the famous Premises studios in London. He made specifications and installed the studio at the British Academy of New Music opened by Sir George Martin. Bertie graduated in engineering product design and designed some revolutionary innovative electronic MIDI drum sticks. As a qualified engineer he specialised in noise and vibration gaining a national prize for his diploma project in acoustics.Bertie also played drums and percussion on Play and Rockingham Street by the Children and co-directed the video Just deep! by Dynamix.Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider

New Studio Space available 1000sqft in lovely surroundings.

I got access to a new lovely studio space approx 1000 sq/ft big enough for a band or small orchestra. Kitted out and ready for rehearsal or recording projects. The studio is located in Moffat just off...
