In early 2003 , Roy Chen, Gil Ben-Yaakov (Eternal Gray), Ishay Amitz and Ethan Shor (Decayed Soul), Took their first step as a cover/jam band, Mostly doing pantera related material, Going by the name of 'Bitchslap' (At the time they included a session guitarist – Asaf Pearlmuter from HxC punk bank THE TESTICLES). Though soon after one explosive performance, They knew that they were destined for the greater challenge – To combine their deep metal roots with their spirit and knowledge of freethinking, free willing rock&roll… And with an Esoteric message to all… Breorn was born.
Whilst Eternal Grey was still on the go, and Decayed Soul took a halt, Breorn went into an intense jamming and writing process, that very quickly, sounded like a high powered, low gravitating, hardcore machine, filled with a constant bluesy and soulful feel and melody. Inspired by Esoteric/Native philosophy and - in the bottom line - mostly from personal experiences – Lyrics were carefully put down by Ethan and Ishay.
Just a couple of months later, Breorn naturally decided to hit the stage, whom they were in no way, strangers to. Very quickly, a name started building for the band in the underground Israeli metal scene, due to powerfully energetic performances filled with amazing chemistry and show. Though just as things seemed to be going smoothly for the band – And just as the band was about to start an EP recording process - A major challenge was standing just around the corner…..In early 2005, After sharing and literally 'breaking' the stage with fellow mates Betzefer and Skinclock, Ethan decided to flee from the band, due to his own personal reasons. And With no real choice at hand, the band started auditioning for the right voice for Breorn, But with no luck. Ishay decided to take the mic position in addition to his guitar duties, which turned Breorn into a raw power trio. Though in the beginning of that stage, session guitarists (Ariel Eshkar from 'Bishop of Hexen' and Ovad Behor from 'Underdog' and 'Buzzer') were used whilst playing live, allowing Ishay more freedom to concentrate and build his own vocal technic and stability, they soon came back to the classic Power-trio formation.
Things were on the roll again, and in early 2006 the guys went into the studio to record an EP. Mixed in Israel, but Mastered at West-West Side Music Studios' by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Hatebreed, Dillinger Escape Plan, The Misfits, Grandmaster flash etc.), The album,"Prepare My Vision", was released in April 2008, and was celebrated and marked by a promotional show in front of a couple of hundred people. And now, after years of hunger, the band is in the search for a proper promoter/Distributor/Label to help them spread their word to a wider audience. Looking forward, awaiting, and constantly moving, towards their next challenge….
