Poetry seems to have the power to uplift us or destroy our frail view of the cosmos. Allmost like music, poetry has the power to change us internally towards a larger view of life. To me it is the best way to communicate our deepest concerns without preaching or arguing. It is the apitimy of the rehtorical, that is to say, it steps completely outside the aristocratic point of view that all information is the output of some functionality. It is act of percieveing that which is in the realm of the unkown, and sometimes it touches the unknowable.Onward Over the hills with thewind at my back.
