My Interests

Scotch. Nightclubs. Bands. Beer and Music, and more Scotch. On the rocks. Love port before a show; great on the vocal chords particularly if you have to hammer notes hard. Oh yeah; and scuba diving. Love the underwater world!

I'd like to meet:

There are a lot of good people on this planet. It's sad that so many will never be known by us all. Those are the sort of ones that are worth reaching out for.

Music:

Rock. Dance. Doesn't matter whether it's Blues, Cabaret, Electronic, R and B; I just love well written songs. Well ... maybe not Blues so much to be honest, though an album by Scott Leece has some amazingly wild horn sections. Well written stuff! I'm songwriting again after not picking up a guitar in a long time. As a singer I never really played it much anyhow, but now I'm punching out tunes every week. Too many tunes to know what to do with actually.

Movies:

I tend to like awesome action flicks and big budget films. Blockbusters. That's usually what I'd grab off the shelf but I also love the Nemo toons stuff they punch out now. Pixar films are doing so well these days. Amazing technology and very clever. And of course, whilst you wouldn't think so - yeah - I have a heart and enjoy those tearjerking love bucket films too!

Television:

Aussie stuff mostly. Comedies. Idol. Big Brother. Dancing with the Stars. Dancing on Ice. But also NCIS; and also House - I love his sarcasm.

Books:

James Patterson and his co authors. Matthew Reilly and Wilbur Smith books. I'm finishing off a novel of my own at the moment. I love to write.

Heroes:

Stars! Stars! Stars! Love their work and the film makers that create teams. Too many to mention. Same goes for the music industry. Shame not so many bands rock these days compared to twenty years ago. Oh there are a few like Silverchair, Jet and now Wolfmother. Great to see these guys rocking, but there needs to be more! Can't stand guitarists who don't know how to pull a raunchy sound - go and see the Choirboys for example and see how it's done. It's a shame that so many just stand in one spot strumming a guitar though. No stage presence. Boring as bat shit. Put some frickin live action into it!! Get some feel!! Entertain and create some energy if that's the style you play.Dee Minor unmasked in a rare shot!Remember kiddies - even at 15 metres, if you can't Slip, Slop, Slap; wear a hat for the sun's harmful rays! The wild Craig "Wacca" in a more serene moment with the guitar that he punched through the ceiling of any venue that had one low enough. He would twist it and leave it hanging as the Marshall quad screamed out feedback over the crowd's encore call!A Straight Jacket suited to the song "Psycho Ward""Baby Arms" Ray powers when he has to!
