I am a native son of The Crescent City...and the light that shines from that moon has illuminated my life to shine in a myriad of forms. I love New Orleans and what makes it. Over the course of my life I have developed a photographic library that captures some of the spirit, vitality, and strength that makes this city what it is...second lines, festivals, and great people. This year the moon shone so bright it made me one of Borders top employess, I work the music department in Metarie. They flew me out to Austin to accept the award, so in classic New Orleans style I came in purple velvet coat waving a wand of individualism that said, "Yes, I like to work and play hard". It was a great couple of days and got me started on a roll of pleasure quests around the country...going to my favorite concerts, esp. Bob Dylan. I was living in Chalmette before Katrina, so I am dealing with the losses of the storm. It was a mighty cold wind that blew and when the levees broke they took a great deal of what I hold dear, including my house. Fortunately, I was able to help my grandmother get relocated and safe. Our house was taken, but we are rebuilding our lives on love and faith. So I say on with the journey...
