About Me

We started this company of sorts years ago as a way to justify our lust to talk to bands and discuss films & plays like we were a pair of low grade Eberts & Ropers. It took of in a way we never imagined & we'll continue until we get bored. Robin, after receiving her biology degree in Biology from the University of South Florida (USF), left Tampa to work with reptiles & play on a trapeze. After sampling several degrees at USF, Desiree recently earned her degree in creative writing. The past: Robin was a novice juggler/unicycler until about 3 years ago when she met an evil juggler at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. He taught her some new tricks and from then on, she was hooked. [The unicycle is not currently featured in their act.] Desiree bought her first set of Crystal Stix from Bill Vestal & thus the end of concentrating on her "normal" job as a coffee whore. All in all they'd been working on their Joogling act for a little over three years. It was good gig, they'd had alot of fun and had been told that they were pretty damn funny/entertaining. Granted, that was from drunken rennies mostly, but they accepted compliments in whatever form they came.
Robireederek was disbanded in 2006.

Television:

Robin: Fear Factor (I'd do almost anything on there except eat all that weird shit), The Simpsons, a messy mold of Springer-Povich because there's no cable in our apartment yet and I'm amused by chicks who don't know which of the 3,677 men they've slept with is their "baby's daddy."
Desiree: old episodes of Girlfriends (when I'm feeling sassy & ethnic), Law and Order: SVU (an obscene amount), 10 Items or Less, The Office (BBC) & It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Mutual TV hates: We hate Mtv because it stands for something that it does not provide. We're old; we remember when that fucking channel premiered. Put on a damn music video already!

Books:

The DaVinci Code, The Reluctant Metrosexual, Naked, The Great Gatsby (Robin hates it, Des loves it), The Catcher in the Rye, Me Talk Pretty One Day... David Sedaris is a GOD, Kurt Vonnegut, Augusten Burroughs, & Peter Hyman

Heroes:

Robin's heroes: Blank until I come to a final conclusion.
Desiree heroes: I've given this a lot of thought and I think that Teresa Solotoff has to go up here. I don't think I've ever met a more supportive woman in my life and for that, she is one of my heroes.
