How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?

About Me

How far? What a dumb question! All the way, of course!!!
Hi, I'm Scott and I am a yoga teacher, teaching in the Ayrshire and Glasgow areas of Scotland (and anywhere else they'll have me)...

Check out my website at www.exploreyoga.co.uk for some of the info about my teaching. That won't give you the whole picture though - most people have the wrong idea about Yoga, and the only way you'll find out the truth is to do it!

My Yoga is all about connection - with your whole life, with love, with your physical body and breath, with every thought and emotion that the Universe flows through you, with every other version of you that you meet in the street or over this world wide web, with the very stillness that lies at your core and you just so know that it's the "real" you.

Am a big-time Internet addict, have met many wonderful, truly authentic people, now close friends, through the web and looking forward to connecting with many more.

It's not about stretching, and you don't need to be flexible to try. Drop me a message if you're interested, you never know, if I'm in a good mood you might score a free class!

You can see all my latest pics at my Flickr page .

Oh, and you can check out my blog at Scott's Thotts , just in case you've not had enough of me by then :-D

My Interests

Living life, getting the most out of any situation, helping people see the light at the end of the tunnel, Movies, Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Healing, Spirituality, Philosophy, India,

I'd like to meet:

I'd be quite interested in meeting my Self some time ;-)

Most of all though I want to meet the "Ordinary Buddha's" - i.e. YOU.

I'd especially love to connect with those interested in Yoga following the Krishnamacharya tradition - being focused around the teachings of the amazing T Krishnamacharya, his son, TKV Desikachar and grandson (my teacher), Kausthub Desikachar. Check out the websites of the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation if you want to know more.

I would also really love to hear all about your own approach to life, spirituality and/or Yoga. I am always very interested in hearing about other aspects and paths.

***NOTE ON FRIEND REQUESTS***

I am not interested in "collecting" friends for the sake of it, or on being part of someone else's colelction of random strangers they wish to link to without any interest in developing a relationship. I am interested in developing genuine connections with other people who wish to engage with me. If you are sending me a friend request, send a message telling me why you want to connect with me (and no general nonsense like, "you seem like a nice guy"). If you don't, I will reject your request as SPAM (which it is, 'cause I just asked yout not to do it without contacting me first.
