Influences: Lets travel across country in an old 66 Pontiac with 5 kids and an am radio praying for a Beatles song to sing along with .
Being the youngest I got to raid my brothers and sisters record collections and get blamed for all the new scratches and re blamed for all the old ones.
My first cassette tapes were Eric Clapton and The Gratefull Dead.
I became a blues fan after hearing ZZ Tops First album and Alman Brothers Eat a Peach and of course Lynard Skynard Smokes, Led Zeplin,Grand funk,Ted Nugent,J Giles ,Foghat ,Savoy Brown, among many more.I traveled across the US. with only a handful of tapes when I was 18, starting from Aspen CO, Emy Lou Harris ,Linda Ronstadt ,Lead Belly and Houses of the Holy while playing blue grass festivalls tripping on mr.natural blotter, no food no money.I played Country roads , Jambalaya and China Grove in the French Quarter New Orleans LA. "my first paying gigs" Mad dog ,Hurricanes and loose change.I tryed to figure out Willy Nelson,Charlie Daniels, and Hank Williams SR.and JR. which helped me figure out John Prine ,JJ cale and back to Eric Clapton. playing in the Malls of Aspen and Boulder Co. introduced me to allot of lunatics and we would jam for the tourista's
Lately My favorite band is Govt.Mule.
I currently jam with a Bass and drummer or who ever is free at the time
My Bar Playlist is ..The Stake by Steve Miller,Blue jean blues by ZZ Top,Mary Had a little Lamb Buddy Guy,Good Lovin by the Racals,Ridin with the King by John Hyat,Steady Rollin Man by Robert Johnson and what ever else pops up that I forgot I knew,
