ABOUT BOOTIE:Launched in 2003, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with monthly parties in seven cities on two continents . Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy!
Resident DJs Adrian, the Mysterious D, and Dada keep your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, celebrating -- and satirizing -- the many different forms of music. Guest mashup DJs from around the world are featured, and the infamous midnight mashup show showcases popular local drag and burlesque performers.

A+D and BOOTIE voted Best of the Bay - AGAIN - for 2008! THANK YOU!
We've been voted "Best Party Producers" in the Readers Poll of the SF Bay Guardian's Best of the Bay 2008 Thank all of you who voted for us!
SF Bay Guardian Best of the Bay 2008 Nightlife and EntertainmentBEST PARTY PRODUCERS Adrian and the Mysterious D, Bootie
Five years in, the Bay's groundbreaking original mashup party, Bootie, has expanded coast-to-coast and to three continents. This duo displays the power of tight promotion and superb party skills.DNA Lounge, 375 11th St., SF. (415) 626-1409, www.bootiesf.com
The readers of the Guardian also voted the DNA Lounge as Best Dance Club !
Also, San Francisco Magazine named us one of the "Best Niche Dance Parties " in their annual Best of the Bay Area issue that just came out July 2008:
Best Niche Dance Parties - San Francisco MagazineThe bimonthly mashup Bootie brings the funk, along with genre-bending, dance floor-filling musical blends, like the aural equivalent of Frankenstein's monster. The event is always packed by 11 p.m., and now they've taken it on the road to Boston, Munich, Paris, and L.A. For the uninitiated: Take a syrupy-sweet Journey ballad and mix it with Afrika Bambaataa's electro-rap beats. The progeny? The unholy yet eminently danceable "Don't Stop Believin' in Planet Rock." bootiesf.com
Thanks Bay Area!
