I was born in Upstate New York and raised in the church, the pentecostal church and was raised to know that Holiness is not an option, it is a requirement! I was raised listening to the music of Andre Crouch, Vernard Johnson (saxaphone player), The Clark Sisters, James Cleveland, Triboro Mass Choir, Institutional Radio Choir, Tessie Hill and a never ending list of others. I have performed in many plays, including "Mama I Want To Sing," "Momma Don't," & "Arms Too Short to Box With God" to name a select few. After touring all over the US, Japan, Africa and Australia. I was selected for a musical taking place in Germany. Not long after my arrival in Germany I met the man who would become my husband. We decided after marrying to make our home in Europe. I have lived in Europe, Germany, to be exact since 1998. I am married to an accomplished Jazz Musician (Trombone player) by the name of Uli Plettendorff. We have one child, a gift from God, Orianna. We are working musicians who are quite often on the road. I have been blessed to have such a diverse group of musician friends. Jazz has always been a genre that I have approached with great respect. I am honored to have been accepted into a very exclusive community of jazz musicians. I have also had the opportunity to work with a few notable greats, among them are; Joerge Achim Keller (best man at our wedding he wrote arrangements for Barbara Streisand and Alan Bergman, president of ASCAP.) Mr. Keller also wrote the arrangement of Love is Here to Stay, on this page, Nils Landgren (awesome trombone player who also performed at our wedding) Peter Weniger and Olaf Polziehn. I have also had the priviledge of performing with a number of Symphony Orchestra's. The recording on this page is with the Bochum Symphonic Orchestra. I have a great many musical influences, Ella Fitzgerald, Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker, James Taylor and many many others...too many to mention. I hope that you enjoy the music on this page. Thank you for taking the time to read and listen
