1995, Abraham Blue recieved a vision of God using a youth choir to ignite the fire of the gospel among its peers, and become a doorway for the unsaved to find their way to Christ. Galvanized by the word, he took the helm of his high school gospel choir and led them as they ministered through song to their peers, teachers, and community. This strong group of disciples refused to let the vision die once they left Jamaica High School. Believing that God had brought them together to do a greater work, they continued their ministry after graduation and adopted the name SECOND CHANCE.This loyal group of friends continued to minister throughout the years: however, this ministry was not limited to song. Second Chance actively sought to embrace and nurture wayward youth who were struggling to make it in the world. True to their name, these ambassadors of Christ demonstrated love and grace, and won many souls to Christ.However, Abraham, fueled by his passion for God, envisioned even more. He longed for a sweeter communion with Christ. He extracted the essence of praise from the community choir and created LEVITICUS, whose sole charge is to worship God. Abraham poured all of his classical and vocal training into this praise and worship team. The result is a finely tuned, harmonic, source of inspiration that makes the angels in heaven sing.Their sound is an eclectic mix of all styles of music, fusing traditional gospel, with jazz, classical, and contemporary gospel. The thoughtful and sincere lyrics rain from Abraham’s heart, as well as the hearts of his loyal choir members, and stands as a testament to their creative sound, growth, and diversity.
