Kevin Flournoy: President/Owner of Flournoy Entertainment (Seven Twenty Seven Inc.) and Kay Flow Projects LLC.
Flournoy Entertainment is a music production company committed to the development of exceptional music and music talent. Our production team has combined many years of actual experience working with legendary “A†list celebrity musicians to bring to the career oriented artist, music projects which have definitive lasting power and critical acclaim. Our goal is to produce quality entertainment which appeals to the masses.
Upon the first touch of a keyboard, at the tender age of seven, Kevin Flournoy knew his passion would be music. It wasn’t long before a lifelong pursuit developed. Throughout his formative years Kevin devoted himself to the study of classical piano and contemporary organ. He later applied his talents to higher education at the University of California, San Diego where he earned a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music Science & Technology. An outgrowth of his intrinsic gifts and love of music has been as predicted: Kevin now maintains a bustling schedule as producer, keyboardist, songwriter and arranger for projects all over the world.
Kevin has produced, written, performed and recorded with many artist including Gladys Knight, The Pointer Sisters, American Idol (TV), Hillary Duff, Jamie Foxx, Teena Marie, The Jazz Crusaders, Kirk Whalum, Donny Osmond, Deniece Williams, The Emotions and Ronnie Laws to name a few.
“Sweet Sensual Love†(single from Big Mountain’s album “Unityâ€) hit the Billboard’s Top 100 pop chart and was certified gold in Japan. It was Kevin’s first major label success as producer. A short time later, “Tengo Ganas,†yet another single cut off the album, created a stir resulting in equivalent accolades in the Latino markets. And recently he was awarded a certified platinum record for his performances in the UK on tour with Donny Osmond.
Naturally, with an ever increasing demand for Kevin’s work, also comes a need to be selective in those he can represent. His requirements are simple: strive for excellence and be truly dedicated to the craft. Other than that, Kevin’s door and heart are open wide for those seeking to make outstanding music.
Kevin is currently working at Westlake Recording Studio in Hollywood producing and writing a full CD pop project with his artist Melissa Suzanne (www.Melissa Suzanne.com) . The first single will be released independently this summer 2007.
