PLAYING FOR THE GOATS

About Me

Tom Huber, born as as a musician in 1976. Bevor he turned into a teenager, an old lady trained him boogie woogie on the piano. This took its end as he discovered Heavy Metal. He bought an e-guitar-equipment, but he wasnt patienced enough to practice the solis of metalgods and played what he could play, which was the melodies in his head while falling asleep. At the age of 15 he foundet a band, which used to eat ham and chesse toast together. Next to that, he recordet first music on the multitracker, mostly 20 secondes songs, but almost hits. For a long time, this was how it was, because since 10 years, tom huber concentrates mostly to confuse people which his images. He did artschool in Amsterdam for 3 years and his way of not beeing a part of a certain stil became stronger. His sense of grotesq humour combines all his work. After school, tom huber became a barkeeper in Zurich and celebrated himself as an hidden genius. As he got public with his work, he felt like reached everything and decided to bring a music album to the market. He started to arrange longer songs and slowly headed towards his debut record. Due to his plan to compose unpredictable music the songs turned out unique and always startling. Assimilations to mainstream styles only exist in an ironical way. Tom Huber wrote and performed all the songs on this album by himself and he also responible for the artwork. There is a lot of his personality in this record. At the same time he founded the Tom Huber Band (Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Trumpet and Voice), which is now rocking his songs live on stage.
