Band Website: None for the moment
Band Members: Ian, with occasional mayhem from Alex
Influences: I promised myself I wasn't gonna do this but I've just come back from the pub so here we go. Just about any sixties band worth their salt meaning the usual Beatles, Stones, Who, Hendrix etc with a dash of Kinks and not forgetting so called lesser lights but they burn brightly in my room at least, like The Small Faces, The Zombies, Love etc.As regards the seventies and ignoring prog rock, I love Bowie and T-Rex and early Roxy music amongst others. Fast forwarding to 76, all the great and not so great punk bands like The Sex Pistols, Clash etc and the The JAM, oh The Jam, I'll have to take a moment here, what a band.So called post punk bands like XTC, and the eighties bands like The Smiths, The Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and the one that got away or never got caught The La's.
Bands I grew up with in Ireland like Thin Lizzy, Blue in Heaven, Something Happens. Bands like Nirvana or The Pixies, oh The Pixies, I'll have to take another moment here. There's a lot of other bands I like over the last ten years but I wouldn't say they're really an influence.
Aside from all that you could throw in anything from Elvis to Neil Young via Nick Drake and a helping of Julian Cope.Of course all of the above is irrelevant and of no interest to anyone but Dave and Karl who will be forced to read it quite against they're not so free will I might add.
Oh and by the way, I'm not sure any of the songs on this site have any influence from the aforementioned but hey, what do I know.
Sounds Like: Whatever you want it to sound like.
