Other interests include reading, music, visits to the cinema, nature walks, visiting Chester Zoo, photography and making computer graphics. I'm also a collector of ornaments. I especially love British wildlife, fairies, angels and of course guinea pigs.
Here's a movie I filmed of 3 Giraffes at Chester Zoo sharing a treat.

Older Programmes:
My favourite sitcom of all time is The Royle Family. I can watch every episode over and over again and have the full series on dvd. I see a bit of myself in Barbara lol
Loved The Goodies as a teenager and still have a great fondness for the programme.
The Sound of Hooves by Ed Murfin
Also Sabbatical by Ed Murfin
The Sound of Hooves is a collection of great poems that were written by my dad over decades. Sabbatical is a novel, very moving, sometimes dark and often very humorous. I may sound biased but both books are excellent! Very proud of you dad!
All of Their Kind by Peter Gurney
Dear Peter Gurney worked so hard dedicating his life to guinea pigs and their welfare. He is sadly missed by so many of us that love guinea pigs.
Blast from the Past by Ben Elton
I was quite a late starter reading novels but now not a day goes by when I don't have my head in a book. Blast from the Past was one of my first books that I enjoyed.
Stephen King
These past few months I've been reading books by the author Stephen King. I didn't think I'd be interested in reading 'scary' type books but after reading Dreamcatcher, I began reading more of his excellent work. In my humble opinion, Stephen King is an absolutely brilliant storyteller who keeps your interest from the first page to the last.
