Hi everyone! Zembus' story begins in the summer of 2003 from an idea of Davide, the drummer of the band. The band has been working on new songs since the early days, trying to write something original and innovative, being inspired anyway by fundamental bands like Dream Theater, Metallica, Rush, System of a Down, Korn etc.
The first demo of 2004, “A Different Youthâ€, is entirely produced by the band. Between June and August 2005 the band records his first EP, composed by 5 tracks and entitled “No Man's Landâ€, available now: it is mixed by Labyrinth's guitarist Pier Gonella. The band is currently working on its first full-lenght, which will be ready in late 2007.
Zembus have an as intense as possible live activity since their first appearance in Genova in January 2004. Between 2004 and 2007 more or less 60 shows are performed, in which, apart from Zembus' songs, the band presents many metal/rock cover songs (Dream Theater, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Queen, System of a Down, Van Halen...). The band plays in many important venues in the North of Italy, like Keller (Bergamo), Mephisto Rock Cafè (Alessandria), Dynasty (Cuneo), Logo Loco (Genova), and in many festivals. Zembus is finalist at Sanremo Rock 2005, which took place in Ravenna in October. By now Zembus are performing the new songs which will be included in the first full-lenght.

Ciao a tutti! Gli Zembus nascono nell'estate 2003 dalla mente di Davide, batterista della band. Fin dai suoi primi passi il gruppo si cimenta nella stesura di pezzi propri, cercando di comporre qualcosa di originale ed innovativo, ispirandosi comunque a gruppi storici come Dream Theater, Metallica, Rush, System of a Down, Korn ed altri.
Il primo demo del 2004, “A Different Youthâ€, totalmente autoprodotto e composto da 4 brani, è solo un piccolo test. Fra giugno ed agosto 2005 la band registra il suo primo EP di 5 tracce, intitolato “No Man's Landâ€, attualmente disponibile: il disco viene mixato da Pier Gonella, chitarrista dei Labyrinth. La band è attualmente al lavoro sul suo primo full-lenght, che sarà pronto alla fine del 2007.
Gli Zembus, fin dal loro debutto nel gennaio 2004 a Genova, presentano un' attività live, per quanto possibile, intensa. Tra il 2004 e il 2007 si registrano più di sessanta esibizioni, nelle quali, oltre a brani originali, sono presentate cover per oltre tre ore e mezza di repertorio che spaziano dal metal al rock (Dream Theater, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Queen, System of a down, Van Halen...). Fra le esibizioni si segnalano date in noti locali del nord Italia, tra i quali Keller (Bergamo), Mephisto Rock Cafè (Alessandria), Dynasty (Cuneo), Logo Loco (Genova), e in numerosi festival di rilevanza nazionale. Il gruppo è stato inoltre finalista al concorso Sanremo Rock 2005, tenutosi a Ravenna nell'ottobre 2005. Attualmente gli Zembus presentano i nuovi brani che andranno a comporre il primo full-length della band.
