BIO'SDJ REDCOAT-Hailing from London and Florida resident for 17 years, he has been in the Florida underground dance music scene since day one; mixing records since 1993 and one of the original jungle/drum & bass promoters in the state. After years of dedication to drum & bass, he discovered DUBSTEP and has now made it his mission to expose as many people as possible to this amazing, addictive and cutting edge sound. On the Jungle, Drum & Bass, Breaks, House, Rock, and Experimental tip, he is known for blending all forms of music. Always moving onward to the next level by preaching a next school vibe, he rocks many parties with a unified style. Holding down the fort with Florida's longest running drum & bass weekly "TORQUE" in Orlando, he is now responsible for "DUBLIFE", Florida's ONLY monthly DUBSTEP night which is now heading into its second year.SICC:16 - Sicc:16, aka Will Caban from Tampa, Florida, comes from a strict Drum & Bass background; and has carried over his skills and talents into the Dubstep realm. "We know music is a progression. Right now, Dubstep is the peak of all innovative music and people need to be exposed to it," exclaims Sicc:16. "Florida Dubstep is official. We'll keep reaching to the people and make the best parties. The music-it speaks for itself." John Strickland was born in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1994 he went to a club and heard EDM for the first time. A spark of interest occurred immediately. Years later he was introduced to Drum & Bass and fell in love with it right away. In 2006 he met some of Jacksonville’s DnB djs and started playing out for the first time. Little did he know that 2007 would be groundbreaking for him musicall. That year, he heard something that would finally fulfill his greatest musical expectations…Dubstep! and raised in South Florida. After becoming fully engrossed in the drum & bass, post-rave culture for a couple years, he has became known as one of the leading dubstep dj's, promoters and producers in South Florida. He's organized major events at the Laundry Bar, opening and closing for legendary dubstep DJ's including Skream, Mala, Joe Nice, MattyG and Plastician.
