Formed from the remnants of a local band named Cashed, Ross Jones and Andy Johnson started a new band in hopes of keeping their dream alive. Local drum whore and long time friend, Randy Haberstick, had nothing going on at the time and decided to join the lineup. From there, they pulled Luis Romero from the Midnight Life to fill in. After a couple of weeks, the undeniable chemistry between the quartet resulted in a thirst for recorded tracks. From there on, they called themselves Channel 99, a tribute name to scrambled porn everywhere. Channel 99 has self-released an EP in April of 2007, plays a shit load of shows and look forward to touring. A firm believer in beer, Channel 99 will play anywhere...whether its for 2000 people, or 2.
