The Kim Basinger Band

About Me

First off, we would like to say that The Kim Basinger Band stands for NONVIOLENCE, ANTI-RACISM, ANTI-PREJUDICE, and SOCIAL AWARENESS. We don't take a political stand, but we DO take an active stand in what's going on around us. All we ask is that we all respect each other and spread the ideas of PEACE, LOVE, and EQUALITY, because, after all, that's all anyone could really ask for. Now about our music. We formed at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. Members of the band left for college or other various reasons in 2005 and 2006, and we have experienced some lineup changes. We released our first full-length album entitled "Between Sin and Sanity" in June of 2006. It was engineered and produced by Matt Laplant at Bieler Bros. Studios (Nonpoint, Skindred, Sikth) and is availiable at shows and on our website, courtesy of Narcissist Productions. We have spent the past year and-a-half promoting the record and playing at various venues in South Florida. We played our final show together on November 17, 2007 at the Kravis Center's Gosman Amphitheatre, right across the street from The Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where it all began.Click here to learn what's happening in Darfur, Sudan
