First and foremost, I'm a DJ in the local club/rave scene here in Seattle for a fantastic production company called WebbwerX. I play anything that makes me (and hopefully others) happy. Most of the time... what makes me happy is breaks. Gritty, compressed, dirty breakbeats just like mom used to make!
But from time to time, I'm known to drop a Speed Garage cut or two, and/or some soulful Drum & Bass.
And don't tell anyone in the breaks scene, but I used to be a Trance DJ. (I even still play a Trance record or two if the crowd is appropriate.) *wink*
Currently, I'm also doing some freelance work as a graphic designer. As I recently explained to someone,
"I had some kind of self righteous moment where I decided that I was too good for tech support and I've been bumming around trying to make money off my design work since then."
