I started recording in 2006. Initially, I wanted to start an all girl political punk rock band. In the mean time, I was fronting for a death metal band in Burbank. I finally started working solo. That's when I'd realized it was artists like Billie Holiday who inspired me the most. Billie Holiday inspired many others, although I have a feeling she never really inspired herself. maybe that's why she did so much junk. No sense of self worth. Always strung out hiding herself from public, putting others on pedestals. There's something hauntingly beautiful about her tone, hearing her voice on vinyl with the needle running over the rivets. Even though I sound nothing like her, she got me started, so my bio is all about her as opposed to me. In doing this project, I wanted to make you feel intoxicated. Honestly, my music was designed to make you feel like your head's a balloon in the clouds. It's not generally in sync. It's just one big emotionally suffocating experience...... My music is not for sale.
