It's freekin' hot! Some pics of my son and I at the beach trying to stay cool...
I do not know a lot of things, however, I do know that my brain has a mind of its own. Moreover, I don't believe in superstitions, they are bad luck. I also believe that my God is directing my steps in a wonderful direction, the catch is, I have to let him. Pontificate that point for a bit...I went out a purchased my first Harley. That was very cool. I have 2 bikes now for different rides and events. I love motorcycles and love the freedom I feel riding one. Here is my latest baby, 2008 Harley Street Glide. She kicks ass.Don't know what the heck is going on in my life, except the fact that I go to CSUN, eat healthy, hit the gym daily, as well as try to be the best person/father/friend I can be. Every day is an adventure in this journey called life.I look to the people that have entered and exited my life. That too, has been crazy. Then there are the ones that were removed from my life through choices I made, bad choices. But, the truth shall set you free. Seek it out, then make up your own mind. Just do yourself a favor and don't just use information given to you second-hand or the assumptions easily made to make it easy to make the decision to quit. Check for yourself, then decide for yourself.Ok, I was told that you should set your goals high, believe in yourself, and you can do anything. Well, ok I said what the f*ck! I just doubled up my major at CSUN. I am now majoring in Marketing and Law. Why? I am still deciding which direction to go. Sports Manager? Theatrical Manager? Criminal Attorney? Corporate Attorney? Marketing Director of some huge conglomerate and dabble in their legal department? Marketing Director for the Angels/Dodgers/Lakers/Kings? Stay tuned...The people you think you want to stay, end up being, because of their actions and lifestyle, the ones you remove from your life or for a period. The ones you thought were gone from your life, could be the ones that end up being one of your best friends in time.Maybe these people will 'see the light' one day, or hell, maybe it's me that needs to. All I can do is be the best father, friend, boyfriend, and man that I can be. Those who want me in their life will show it. Those who don't, I will show the door.If I have learned one thing in this life, it's that if you trust God all will be well. When I try to run things, something happens and it usually ain't good. 2008 will be better than 2007, even though '07 was not a bad year. My best days are ahead of me, not behind me. I am grateful for so much and that helps me stay humble. Ok, a little humble? =)The comments on this page from the people below are only possible because of the love others have shown me, allowing me to give that love back. I am grateful for the people pictured below and for the ones you cannot see on this page. The pictures on this page reflect the person that I am becoming, with a little of the person I have always been still inside. I hope your life is filled with everything you need, mine is.
Peace
Life is fantastic and too damn short. Clean, serene, and a little in between best describes me. Love Starbucks coffee and my friends to share it with.Don't tell God how big your problems are. Tell your problems how big your God is.
There probably is nothing good in this life that comes free of charge. Things of value often require sacrifice to obtain—but they are worth the cost! The trials you encounter from day to day may seem frustrating, but the reward is great in the end. Trust your Higher Power. He knows where your journey will take you and where you should go, so listen to Him and trust His plans and reasons. If you know someone who is struggling, just put an arm around them and let them know that you care and that you have been thinking about them.Love is a perfectly good word, so don't be afraid to use it. It's also a very special word, so be careful to not abuse it.
"It isn't what you say, it's what you do. Your actions will speak louder than you."There's a reason why the windshield on our vehicles is bigger than the rear view mirror. It's becuz it's more important to see where we're going, than it is to pay attention to where we've been.I love riding my motorcycle and living life day-to-day. It's the journey that I'm interested in, not the destination. Life is not a sprint, it's a marathon, with a finish line we won't consciously know we've crossed when we get to it; so enjoy life. It's n-e-v-e-r too late to try anything new or anything fun!True friends rock! Forgiveness is critical to live free. Life is so f**king great! Don't get caught up in drama and miss the beauty that stands before our eyes everyday. When one door closes, another one opens.Ya know, things just have a way of working themselves out even when it looks grim. Bree, if you ever see these words know that I love you so much. I'll post it for the whole world to see! Your brother would love to see you, too. We Love You!Layout made by
